nail art: summer polka dot gradient
The june julep maven box I got was the hobo Glam box and I definitely wanted to use the colors as soon as I got them. I originally wanted to do a more traditional gradient fade but I thought the old-school-comic polka dot gradient fade was a bit more fun for summer. Viola!
Polishes used:
julep - Robin
julep - Claire
julep - Whitney
julep - Daisy
julep - Courteney
China glaze - white out

nail art: spring balloons
so the balloons got a little streaky because I accidentally used a different top coat than what I wanted to use but that’s ok …gives it a little “whoosh” feel. LOL!

Deborah Lippmann - Glitter in the Air

Acrylic Paint - Red, Yellow, Orange

nail art: habiscus summer
inspired by a one stroke nail tutorial I saw on yt from love4nails. was faster to do than I thought which was great since I was painting my nails at 3am. LOL!
polishes used:
-Milani fresh teal
-white, yellow, and orange acrylic paint
I don’t even know what to call this design. I basically took a pair of design scissors to some Sally Hansen polish stickers and this is what I came up with.
very spring :) and these are a lot harder to put on than I thought. took me longer to do this than it was just to paint my nails. LOL. it’s ok, I like it though

nail art: girl on fire
couldn’t help myself, had to play with more of the colors from the China Glaze Capital Colours collection. this one turned out pretty well. :)
its funny how each color in this collection was chosen to represent each district but most of the colors really work with the district 12 color scheme. LOL!

nail art: night embers
went to watch The Hunger Games movie last night so I threw on some of the colors from the China Glaze collection. I’m especially surprised how smooth the Luxe and Lush applied given that its such a chunky piece if glitter. :) and it’s so pretty!
polishes used: China Glaze - Smoke and Ashes China Glaze - Luxe and Lush Zoya - Opal

china glaze’s hunger games collection. shop owner went ahead and gave me the display as well even though I didn’t buy all the colors in the collection. LOL! :)
